Why do you love this place?:
The largest area of open water in Dudley and the pools are important for migrating waterfowl as well as being home to huge numbers of frogs and toads. They also have one of the UK's largest populations of Great Crested Newt - hence the reserve's designation as a Site of Special Scientific Interest.
