Why do you love this place?:
The modern park was created in the 1930s over the private grounds of Studley Court on the edge of Stourbridge. Studley Court had earlier taken in the the Heathland, which was part of the open fields of the medieval manors of Stourbridge and Oldswinford. Each phase of this history has left its mark in the landscape, which is now an attractive and popular place for recreation with beautiful views that change throughout the year.
How would you improve this place?:
The park's lake (the Heath Pool) and its surroundings are sadly in need of improvement to make this a more valued part of the park.
