Why do you love this place?:
The Free Library and Technical Institute, known by some as the International Glass Centre, stands on the edge of Brierley Hill Town Centre and was among the finest public work of the fledgling Brierley Hill Urban District Council. Opened in 1903, it provided training for apprentices in the town's glassworks including education in fine art, a role it continued to serve until early 2009. It also provided the town's library until the early 1970s. The building's architecture is certainly striking and forms a landmark on the way into the town centre.
How would you improve this place?:
This much loved building is now empty and in need of a new, caring owner.
