Why do you love this place?:
Sedgley Beacon is one of the highest points in the Black Country and is a beautiful, peaceful spot which is very scenic. The Beacon also has some of the best views in the Black Country and fifteen(historic)counties can be seen on a clear day. The Beacon has a well-known local monument, the Beacon Tower, which dates from 1846. Sadly, the Tower has been out of use since the 1970s.
How would you improve this place?:
The Tower's restoration would be the biggest and best improvement to Sedgley Beacon as this would give better views - although the view stretches for many miles, the south and south-west can't be seen well without climbing the Tower. From the top of the Tower, the Malvern Hills and the Cotswolds would be seen
